HELLOOO PEOPLE!
im back from my china trip, and im glad i did
man hectic trip this is, its fun too
as said, here are the summary updates of the trip...

DAY 1, 26/12/07
woke up at 4am to prepare for the flight at 7am
had breakfast at changi terminal 1 my dad, typical singaporean, was kiasu
SO, we reached the airport 1hr earlier
you know the word 'sian'?

slept at the waiting area for very long before the boarding time finally arrived

i've always been fascinated by the view of the outside when the plane is flying
leaving singapore is always somewhat a torture for me, i miss her

the clouds are so beautiful, like cotten candy
reached China at bout 12pm
once we stepped outside the airport
WOOTS! winter hit us like needles
the air we breathe out was condensed immediately, cool

we were late by a day, our tour group had left for china the day before
so we went over to the restaurant to meet them and have lunch

our tour guide, forgotten what his name was
but his alias is xiao wang

after lunch, we boarded the bus to head towards '花水湾-hua shui wan' where we'll be staying for the night

this is Gwen, shes three and she sits beside me on the bus
cute little girl :)

there were many kids on this group, all below the age of 12
on the way to the hotel, they played with the condensation that had formed on the INSIDE of the bus guess what i wrote?

at bout 3pm we reached the hotel

and this is the name of the hotel...
the hotel is known in the area for its hot springs that are built inside

oops, not supposed to take pictures of the interior
the difference between mineral water and the hotspring water

after getting the room keys
we went up to check out our rooms

even indoors, the place is cold! 5 degrees baby!

most of the people from the group went to the hotsprings for a bath
my family went out to the nearby shops for a stroll

take a good look at the guy in red, he tried to cheat the woman from my tour group
hah so sad my dad job consisted of testing scales and etc.
caught him red-handed

thats one of the few things why i HATE CHINA PEOPLE(except for most of the girls), they arent honest

we went on with our walk
passed by a local market
the shops were mostly the same, either its a provision shop, or its a eatery
And they all sell the same thing... wth

proceeded back to the hotel for our dinner

including the restaurant where we had our lunch,
the waitresses were all PRETTY young girls, mostly older than me by bout 1, 2 or 3 years
lol child labour

after dinner, the kids went downstairs to play with firecrackers
ALOT of firecrackers, cheap cheap too
my bro bought a few big rockets earlier on our walk and he set them off

i went back to my room as im so damn tired
watched an encore NBA match between New Orleans Hornets and Houston Rockets

BORING!

DAY 2, 27/12/07

set off at 830am towards Xiling Snow Mountain
its much colder there, since the altitude was higher
even at the foot of the mountain

haha
mum and dad rented snow shoes that are much warmer and slip-resistant

yeah read what they say..
took the cable car up the mountain
along the way, we couldnt see anything, foggy

at the top,

as you can see, ice shards formed on the tree branches
its damn cold i tell you, a negative temperature
headed towards the main entertainment area where we were gonna have our activities

this is snow-rafting

it was kinda fun, except that the ride was very short
the air was so cold, my face was almost frozen on the way down

normally, cold means nothing to me
but this..is...WTF!
i couldnt take it anymore
so i went back to the central area of the place
bought some food, onion-oil fried bread and small-fried fishcake
the rest of the day was travelling down the moutain,
went back to the hotel,
have dinner
SLEEP
eveything in China are very cheap
from your daily neccessities to food, clothing, transport etc.
just uploading 2 days took so long and so much energy
i'll update the rest of the trip 2 days by 2 days from tomorrow onwards.
